Experience
I studied psychology for my bachelor's degree at Colgate University. I also was a college athlete, competing for the track and field team is the Catholic and playing on the rugby club. I'm looking forward to medical school the future. As a tutor, I work with students using a laid-back and communicative approach. I explain things in different ways and give students different perspectives from the way they learn concepts in the classroom. Sometimes looking things a different way and hearing it from another person is enough to help a student understand something. I encourage students to develop a full understanding of material, and I also can provide tips and techniques to improve cognitive speed in coursework and on tests. I can tutor students in organic chemistry, physics, biology, and other related topics, and I can help students prepare for the MCAT and other standardized exams. When I have free time, I like to run, coach sports, cheer for the Yankees, read, ride my bike, and spend time with my stepdaughters.
